Would you like to buy a website for $5000 less than the seller’s asking price? What about increasing the monthly income of your website by 500% by simply fixing broken links and making articles read better? Those are just some of the wins that we shared in this video clip, which came from our Digital Investors Workshop.

Liz Raad: There was 11 minutes to go on the auction, so Sally just thought, “Oh well, yeah that looks pretty cool, Survival Nomads, that’s a really good topic at the moment, a really hot niche is survival, and prepping.”
There was one bid on the auction, and with 11 minutes to go, she thought, “Well I’ll give it a go.” And she put in a $50 maximum bid, and she won it for $41! Wow! Bargain! So I think you’re the winner of the bargain website.
Matt Raad: That’s pretty impressive, $41. The domain name alone has got to be worth more than that.
Nice, now that’s a learning site. That’s a $41 textbook, pretty much isn’t it? What a great tool for learning, you’re buying on an actual website.
Oh here’s Eva and Lana.
Matt Raad: This is Champion’s site that I’m visiting.
Liz Raad: It was listed at $7,000, and they negotiated and they negotiated well. And they got it down to $2,000.
It’s a five-year-old site, and after they’ve been doing renovations, they’ve been tidying it all up. So it’s up from 250 visitors a month to 700 visitors a month.
And again, 370 articles in a passion niche. What’s the value of that? 370 times $20 per article is $7400.
That is the value of the site, just in content alone. Plus it came with other domains. So, well done.
Liz Raad: And Simone, this is awesome. You are so in the running for the best website buyer.
$455 and it was making $3 a month and that’s common. This is like the sort of site you’ll often see on Flippa, best Ice Cream Makers, a really good niche. That’s a great tight niche topic for an Amazon affiliate site.
And she’s done a reno and the thing she was doing is more like fixing articles, making them read better, fixing broken links. After three months, already made $50.
Matt Raad: I’m just thinking, you know how I said textbooks. What textbooks pay you back $50, like three months later, and then it will be ongoing. So well done Simone. That’s fantastic.

Nice one, good. So you can get it within less than five seconds.
And good domain name too, like not to use
That’s impressive.
I mean I think we would be right with Potter Bricks. But yeah, be very careful with using… You wouldn’t use Harry Potter the full name in a domain name.
You might get a look, like get a letter.
But yes, Skye, speaking of, legend family. Skye rebuilt this one from scratch.
So this is about Family Coaching. And she renovated her old site as well, and she’s feeling pretty darn proud of this and so you should Skye.
And very empowered. And that’s the kind of thing that we love… The place we love getting you guys to, where you’re feeling like you can achieve things that you never even believed that you could achieve.
