Event Terms of Use

These terms and conditions (‘Terms’) form the basis of your participation in and at events organised by the E-Business Institute Pty Ltd ABN 55 089 024 251 (‘Organiser’). Events (‘Events’ or ‘Event’) include live in person workshops, boot-camps, summits, online webinars, and live streamed online events.

When you accept these terms, you enter into a contract with us agreeing to the Terms and agreeing that you take full responsibility for your successes, failures, actions and inactions in relation to any information provided to you or taught at our Events.

If you do not agree with any of these Terms, we request that you do not commit to attend our Events.

Acknowledged by participant:

(a) When you attend our events you acknowledge that the presenters are not licensed financial planners, accountants or advisors.

(b) All information including material as referred to or provided at our events by the Presenters has been obtained by the Presenters solely from their own experience as business owners and is referred to or provided as general information only, which:
(i) will require further research to identify its application to your specific requirements
(ii) will, dependent on the further research to be undertaken as referred to in sub paragraph (i) above, require modification to appropriately apply to your specific requirements
(iii) is referred to or provided by way of example only and is not intended to be nor is it acceptable as specific investment recommendations or advice for you.

(c) You understand that failed business projects, mistakes and losses are a real possibility if you do decide to pursue and engage in specific or similar business activities and/or investments presented at our events. Therefore you understand and agree that these business activities carry an inherent element of risk and you accept full responsibility for this risk and its consequences.

(d) You commit to undertake careful and competent due diligence from independent sources before taking any action or inaction as a consequence of information gained at our events.

(e) Any investment or business undertaken whether as a result of information provided by the Presenters or otherwise will be undertaken only after:
(i) Consideration of all relevant facts and issues; and
(ii) Obtaining independent financial, investment and legal advice.

(f) The presentation given by the Presenters is one of the many learning tools that you may require before participating in your own business. You acknowledge that there is no guarantee that profit will be made as an entrepreneur.

Event program

The Organiser will endeavour to ensure that the workshop program is correct at the time of the actual event. It may, however, due to unforeseen circumstances, be necessary to alter the program before the Event, and E-Business Institute Pty Ltd reserves the right to do so without notice.

Confirmation

Confirmation of your registration for the Event will be sent to you via email by the Organiser once full payment has been received or your seat has been booked.

Entry to the Event

You acknowledge that our events are private events: Attendance is by invitation only or paid tickets. Only registered guests may enter the room or online event. Unregistered people will be declined entry.

The Organiser reserves the right to, in its sole discretion, to limit or deny access to the Event.

All attendees acknowledge that events are often recorded in some form by the organiser and that as an attendee they may be photographed, filmed or recorded by the Organiser’s photographer/videographer, and consent to this being used by the Organiser for promotional or business related purposes. You may not make any recording of the Event.

You agree to take directions from workshop staff, organizers and presenters. You agree that you are liable for any damages or losses caused to the presenter’s or their agents’ property, reputation or income arising from your actions or inactions.

Permission to use mobile text messaging (SMS)

By providing your mobile number for registration, you consent to the Organiser contacting you via SMS to your mobile number up to 5 times for marketing or business purposes. Should you wish you unsubscribe, reply “opt-out” to the SMS.

We respect your privacy and will otherwise only use your personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

Any information you share at the Event, including confidential information, is shared at your own risk. We ask that all participants respect the privacy of other attendees however we have no obligation to ensure other participants respect your privacy or keep shared information confidential.

Prices For Paid Events

All prices are in Australian Dollars.

Event Cost For Digital Profits Fast Track Summit

Workshop ticket price ($1,980 including GST) includes access for one person to the 3-day summit. A workshop networking event will be available for an extra cost. This is not a compulsory part of the program.

Each ticket purchase is for the whole Event even if you only attend for 1 day.

Payment Policy

Payment for the 3-Day Summit and optional Networking Event is due in full at the time of registration and only includes attendance. Your registration fee does not include food, accommodation or travel to and from the event. Your registration will not be confirmed until payment is received and may be subject to cancellation.

Bookings must be made and full payment received by 5pm the day before the event. If not, the attendee registration may be cancelled and the Organiser reserves the right to claim all payment due otherwise.

Receipt of an application and/or payment does not automatically entitle you to a ticket to the Event. The Organiser reserves the right to, in its sole discretion, to limit or deny access to the Event. Applications and payments that are not accepted will be returned.

Cancellation and Substitution

If cancellation of registration is required or you are unable to attend the event, you must contact us via email at [email protected] at least 24 hours prior to the start of the event. You have three options:
– You may substitute another attendee in your place, in which case you must provide their name, phone number and email address in writing, at least 24 hours prior to the start of the workshop. If proper notification is not provided within this deadline, we reserve the right to refuse the substitution.
– You may cancel your registration and a $200 administration fee will apply.
– You may transfer the tickets to attend a future similar event of E-Business Institute Pty Ltd.

If you do not give 24 hours’ notice or otherwise fail to attend Event, your full ticket price is non-refundable.

If you have a complimentary ticket eg a ticket that was included in one of our educational programs, there are no monetary refunds offered. If you cannot attend the Event, and you follow the above procedures, tickets may be transferred to another person, or you may attend another similar future event of E-Business Institute Pty Ltd.

The Organiser reserves the right to cancel or postpone the Event. If the Event is cancelled, full refunds for registrations will be issued to attendees that have paid. If the Event is postponed, the Organiser will try to provide as much notice as possible. In either scenario, the Organiser will not be liable for any direct or indirect costs of the ticket holder. This includes, but is not limited to, accommodation and travel costs. We recommend you take out travel insurance to cover this scenario.

In the event of any occurrence not foreseen in these Terms, the decision of the Organiser shall be final.

Intellectual Property

You acknowledge that the Organiser or presenter owns the intellectual property rights in the material to be presented at the Event and agree you will not share or duplicate the information, in part or in full, or use any of the material provided for any unintended purpose.

You shall not duplicate by any means whatsoever any of the information.

You acknowledge that the information provided is intended for personal use of registered attendees only. Consultants, media, authorities, businesses or others seeking access for commercial purposes will be declined entry unless given specific written permission by the organizers.

Disclaimer

You acknowledge that the presenters are not licensed financial planners or advisors, qualified accountants or finance professionals and the material being presented is largely based on their own experiences. General financial information may be provided. This information does not take into consideration your specific objectives, financial situation or needs. You should consider the appropriateness of the advice to your own circumstances and seek independent legal, financial or accounting advice where appropriate. These Terms and your participation in the Event are subject to our full disclaimer.

Please note that results and earnings mentioned at events are not typical. Where specific income figures are used and attributed to an individual or business, those persons or business have earned that amount. There is no assurance you’ll do as well. If you rely upon figures; you must accept the risk of not doing as well.

Release

To the fullest extent possible, you release the Organiser and Matt and Liz Raad from any and all liability for any loss, damage, injury or expense suffered by you in connection with your attendance at the Event or your use of information taught at the event, subject to the extent the loss or damage is caused or contributed to by the negligence of the Organiser or Matt and Liz Raad.

General

During the course of our events you may be offered ongoing training courses or coaching services and it’s your choice if you would like to take these offers up.

These Terms are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia and you agree to be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Queensland.
